Random Machine

2014

Ceramics, marble, plaster, c- prints, clay, glass, wood, metal, seashell, computer, 300 x 200 cm, LVGG, Buenos Aires

The work Random Machine is a floor installation based in a rectangular platform of tiles where different photographs, interior design magazines, pre-historical references, self-made objects, parts of previous works and the video work “Evolutions, Adds, Commas of the Random Machine” (2014) running on an iMac, are assembled in an intuitive manner or with the aim of establishing connections. Using the method of a scientific laboratory or an astrological constellation, the different fragments of time and space allow a potential disruption of this era; and propose a tension between the desire to organize- to add meaning- and the desire to recreate confusion and chaos.
